The Niagara Falls is the most powerful waterfalls in earth. These huge waterfalls are located on the Niagara River. The Niagara falls is 75 miles (121 km) south-southeast of Toronto, Ontario & 16 miles (27 km) north-northwest of Buffalo, New York, between the  cities of Niagara Falls, New York and Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Niagara Falls is composed of two main parts, divided by Goat Island: the American Falls on the American side and the Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side. The less important Bridal Veil Falls are also situated on the American side, divided from the key falls by Luna Island.

The Niagara Falls is well-known jointly for their beauty and as an important source of hydroelectric power. Organizing the balance between commercial, entertaining and industrial uses has been a challenge for the stewards of the Niagara Falls since the 19th century.

Major numbers of visitors visit in the summertime, when Niagara falls are jointly a daytime and evening attraction. From the Canadian part, floodlights light up both parts of the falls for quite a few hours after dark (until midnight). The well known tourist attraction at the falls is the Maid of the Mist boat cruise.

From the U.S. part, the American Falls can be seeing from walkways all along Prospect Point Park. Goat Island offers more views of the Niagara Falls and is available by foot and automobile traffic by bridge over the American Falls. From Goat Island, the Cave of the Winds is available by winch and leads hikers to a point beneath Bridal Veil Falls.
